Statistical Abstract


The Agricultural Marketing Statistical Abstract was published for the first time in 1996 by the Institute. Agricultural Marketing Statistical Abstract, 2005 is ninth in the series. The present volume has been expanded with details on the Basic Economic Indicators, Population and Agricultural Census, Agriculture at a Glance, Production, Fruit, Vegetables, Spices, Water Resources, Agribusiness, Agricultural Credit and Finance, Agricultural Marketing, Procurement, Marketing by Government Agencies, Co-operative Organizations, Storage, Warehousing, Prices, Exports and Imports, Guideline for the Export of Fresh Fruits, Harvest Management of Fruit and Vegetables, Quality Standards and Specifications of Spices, Seed and Herbs, Post Harvest, Storage, Transport and Packaging of Fruit and vegetables : Technical Aspects, Agricultural Related Institutions and Organizations and overview about the Institute.
