This summons us to revisit our traditional statistic
policies and laws and bring about the requisite reforms in
the sector. The main objectives of the institute are to
impart training to various levels of functionaries to
conduct research, to offer consultancy services and
education to develop promising human resources in order to
meet the new emerging challenges in the field of
agricultural marketing.
NIAM emphasises, now more than ever, to showcase its
uniqueness by meeting a wide variety of challenges, be it
field work, number crunching, presentation skills, marketing
surveys and studies, research, financial expertise etc. To
this NIAM is adding more Foreign Languages, publishing crisp
informative agri-business magazines catering to the needs of
agro-based industry, organising big Agri-business events -
Symposium, B-Quiz, Paper Presentations etc. on issues of
national and international importance.
Our highly experienced faculty members have increasingly
worked on global research problems as well as research
oriented consulting, and have made significant contribution
to know-how world-wide. Our bright young students have
developed their minds and have embarked upon promising
careers in the corporate world. The executives who have been
trained at NIAM have developed their latent managerial and
leadership capabilities, and several of them have made it to
the top notch in their respective organizations.
We are committed towards creating a community which is
green, sustainable and which provides a lifelong learning
experience and professional development. I would like to
take this opportunity to invite you to our campus, and
discover for yourself what this great institution could mean
to you.
